M E M B E R S H I P

Regular Membership in APHAR is available for individuals working in the field of pharmacology with respect to research, teaching or administration and who have completed a university degree or are pHD students (see § 5 of the Statutes).

Applications for membershipmust be supported by a regular member of APHAR.

The final decision on the application is made by the APHAR Executive Committee.

 
Application procedure

The pdf form can be downloaded by clicking on the icon on the left. Please print the completed form and sign it (applicant and supporter). The signed form should be scanned as pdf file and should be sent by e-mail to membership @ aphar.at (or alternatively by fax to +43-316-380-9645).

 
Membership fees

Memebrship fees as of 2015:

The membership fee for regular members is  € 30.

Regular members in retirement or PhD student members pay a reduced membership fee of  € 15. In order to be eligible for he reduced membership fee please supply a confirmation from your department or PhD supervisor.

Honorary members do not have to pay a membership fee.

Important information: Currently, certain departments pay the membership fee on behalf of their department members. This is a special arrangement between department and individual member. Please note that if the individual member in this case leaves the department, the individual remains liable to pay the APHAR membership fee in person.

Termination of membership

Membership can be terminated by sending a notification to the executive committee (Secretary General) at least 3 months before the end of the calendar year. Outstanding membership fees still have to be paid in full.

 
Membership in the Section of Clinical Pharmacology

Any reguar member of APHAR who is actively engaged in Cinical Pharmacology in research, teaching or administration may become a member of the Clinical Section of APHAR. The decision on applications is made by the executive committee of the Clinical Section.

Applications for membership must be supported by a regular member of the Clinical Section.

The application for membership in the Clinicacl Section can be submitted with the regular membership form.

Currently, there is no seprate membership fee for the Cinical Section. However, members of the Clinical Section of course are liable to pay the regular membership fee for their membership in APHAR.

Supporting members

Companies, institutions or other egal entities from the field of pharmacology may become supporting members of APHAR.

Supporting members may send a representative to take part in General Assemblies. However, the right of vote is restricted to regular members and honorary members.

The minimum membership fees for Supporting members are determined by the Executive Committee of APHAR.
