YOUNG PHARMACOLOGISTS' CAREER WORKSHOP
The program of the 15th Scientific Symposium of APHAR will start on Thursday morning (10:0012:30) with the Young Pharmacologists' Career Workshop.
Representatives from the Pharmaceutical Industry, Pharmacovigilance and Social Insurance System will give an overview of
job opportunities for young pharmacologists outside the classical academic setting.

Joint Commemorative Event of the Medical University and the Karl-Franzens-University of Graz
on the occasion of the 100th anniversary
of the appointment of Otto LOEWI to the Chair of Pharmacology and Pharmacognosy of the Medical Faculty of the University of Graz.
Loewi chaired the Department of Pharmacology
and Pharmacognosy from 1909 until 1938. He received the
Nobel Prize for Physiology and Medicine in 1936 for the discovery of humoral neurotransmission.
